Dear Customer, if you’re considering a product return, please note the following:

All hand-woven and hand-crafted products on Sarikart are produced by weavers and artisans in villages mostly at their homes. New Gen Products are procured from reputed suppliers with established Quality check process. 

Unevenness in weaves, prints, minor slubs in fabric and slight variation in color are expected outcome of an authentic craft process. These variations are typical characteristics of any hand-crafted product and are not to be considered as damage or defective.

 Sarikart is a marketplace and it’s sellers are mostly small master weavers, co-operatives and artisan entrepreneurs and reputed suppliers. As small businesses, while they strive hard to make and sell authentic handmade products to their customers, it is difficult for them to accept returns from customers as many times the products are not returned in original condition. For example a silk saree which is returned back in crumpled condition to the weaver cannot be resold again and is a huge loss for them.

Return Policy:

For the above reasons, Sarikart doesn’t encourage return. Sarikart accepts returns only if a wrong product or damaged product is delivered. Exchanged are encouraged only on case to case basis and having genuine reason for such request. The product needs to be in unused and unsoiled condition with original folds (especially for sarees) and price tag intact.

Customers wishing to return or exchange, must intimate  within 1 days of receipt of the product which is being returned or exchanged with supporting photos of the product mentioning the reason for return or exchange. Sarikart will review it and will decide accordingly.

  • Please mention your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your request.
  • Customers need to fold & pack the product neatly in the package and courier the product to the seller.
  • Return pick up can be arranged by Sarikart as per confirmation on date & time by the customer.
